The Cylon follows the THE PINCH. Why? One reason only--it works. He doesn't care about the science behind it. He cares about the result, and the result he has seen and tested for himself. It takes a lot of discipline to adhere to THE PINCH, but it's not complicated, it's just hard. And The Cylon believes that most things worth doing are just that--simple but hard.
